The KdF Wagen was the original Beetle design as conceived by Dr. Ferdinand Porsche. The original people’s car was put into production in the late 30’s right as Germany’s war machine was getting revved up. This unfortunate timing meant most Germans would have to wait for postwar rebuilding to get their hands on the now inimitable Beetle.
3 examples plus some of the emblems and logos of the KdF civilian models are available in the Art by Edo store. All of them are black and have various period accessories.
